wheel of fortune anyone?

I have got to say, I didn’t think that I would come up with a topic like this when I woke up this morning, but…well, here we go! WHEEL OF FORTUNE. Pat Sajak and Vanna White have done a tremendous job entertaining us all for over 25 years, and still to this day I find myself watching 3 contestants spin a big wheel full of colors and opportunities. Sometimes I wish that it was me up there trying for a chance to make it to the bonus round. Sitting at home all frustrated because the person just doesn’t see what the heck the board is blatantly displaying… to then spin on, using up one of there free spins to only find themselves bankrupt in the end. Doesn’t that bother some of you as well? I remember when I was a kid and the game was slightly different. The contestants were given an opportunity if they won a certain round to go and purchase something with the money they earned in one of the showcase rooms. How the game has changed since then. Now the contestants are spinning for a chance to win $10,000 on a given spin and up to $100,000 more in the bonus round….a far cry from the original $1000 spins and the $25,000 bonus rounds. All the glitz and glamour, consonants and vowels that the show brings to us on a daily basis is something that none of us will ever forget. Maybe someday I will have an opportunity to ask…“Pat, I would like to by a vowel.”
