This little video today was put together by Chad, who apparently finds it amusing in making our shoots look so boring. Well that is not the case, we actually have a lot of fun on set as you watch you will see that some things take much longer than others, and filing a piece of metal is one of those...thanks Chad!

Jewelry DVD day 5

Well it's day 5 and I am still working on pieces for my upcoming DVD shoot. However, I think that I am getting the hang of the whole video blog thing. It is a lot of fun.

Jewelry DVD day 4 (on set)

Today I will let you in on a glimpse of what goes on on-set. As you watch you will notice Jon, my husband, asking me for some advice on a certain material...and if you watch closely you will see my mother, Mary-Ellen, getting things ready for the shoot...Elisabeth and Jason Walsmith(The Nadas) are taking stills of our projects...and of course Maddie (my daughter) running around. Oh, yeah, Chad...Chad is behind the camera for this one.

Jewelry DVD day 3

Well it is Friday and the boys are over in the other building putting together some final jewelry pieces...I think! Hopefully all is going well. Elisabeth is working on the DVD graphics, and I...well I'm feeling a whole lot better with my progress. I've got a great assortment of creations, all that need a quick polishing. So, watch this and I will get back to work!

DVD day 1

Well, I suppose it is time that all of you out there get a little taste of me as I prepare for our upcoming DVD series Courage to Create with Jewelry. This whole blog thing is something that I usually do not partake in, but by adding a daily video blog and getting you all to participate I say what the heck...lets do it! So from now on, each day I will be letting you in on all that goes in to creating a show. I will forewarn you though, it isn't all the glitz and glamor that you all may think. There is a lot of details to deal with on a daily basis and my team works very hard to make it all happen...

it's all up hill from here!

with the holidays over and the new year bringing nothing but joy and cheer, i welcome it with open arms. new years bring resolutions, which we all make and then seem to break, but not this year. i am strongly going to try and keep up my end of the bargain with my resolutions and not suppress to the results of every other year. not only is the new year going to bring good health and cheer to me, but to all of us here at the studio as well.
the holidays have given us all here a chance to relax and focus on the busy year to come. with focus brings fun and fun brings creativity. that is kind-of how things work around here so today i will leave you with a clip that i stumbled upon on you tube.
